🦙 Is Boeing 737 Max Safe Now
The MAX is easily the safest plane now. In fact, it’s the only airplane to have “health monitors” in every single plane. Boeing allowed airlines that option, but after the troubles, Boeing put it on every one of them. It’s extremely sad what happened (my brother knew and worked with the Ethiopian captain) but it made for a safe aircraft.

Stab trim systems fail. We have procedures for that. On the 737 (all models) the procedure if the stab trim fails is to turn off the stab trim switches which completely removes the hydraulic power from the system. The MCAS failure presented itself exactly the same way a runaway stab trim failure would present itself.
5 days ago · Is the 737 MAX 8 now safe? The safety of the Boeing 737 MAX 8 has been a topic of concern and controversy since the tragic crashes of Lion Air Flight 610 in October 2018 and Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 in March 2019. These devastating accidents claimed the lives of 346 people, resulting in the grounding of all MAX 8 aircraft worldwide.
6 days ago · Alaska Airlines first grounded all of its Boeing 737 Max 9 planes on Saturday morning after a window and a chunk of fuselage blew out on one of the aircraft in mid-air shortly after takeoff.
The Boeing 737 Max 8 flew its first flight in 2017. One important distinction from previous 737s is the Boeing 737 Max 8 has a different software system. That software is now a focus of investigators.
This plane is safe to fly . The MAX now compares data from both angle of attack sensors and if there’s a material difference between the sensors then the MCAS system will be inhibited throughout the flight. The system only activates once per incident, eliminating repetitive nose-down pitch. And pilots maintain elevator authority for the aircraft.
No manufacturer is perfect, there will be some incidents that cause death, unfortunately, however modern airliner aircraft are incredibly safe to fly on, either Boeing or Airbus. It's the most internationally scrutinised aircraft in recent history, so yes I'd be entirely happy to fly on it. Much like the commet.
Some critics still say ‘no’, according to a Travel Talk report. Former senior manager at Boeing’s 737 plant Ed Pierson has published a report highlighting the increase of inflight technical issues with the Boeing 737 MAX. In it he says pilots reported at least 42 inflight malfunctions on the 737 MAX in the US since being re-cleared for
No. It is to be rational to fear flying an airline that employs low flight time, poorly trained pilots. Neither Max accidents would have occurred with high time pilots in each seat. The US used to be this way until the Colgan Air/Continental Express crash that had a failed captain and a low time FO in the right seat.
However, when there are two air crashes involving the same type of aircraft – the Boeing 737 Max 8 – in a span of 16 weeks, passengers are bound to worry about flying on these aircraft. On 10
